Films by Tasciotti or Movies of Tasciotti. To call it films or movies? Both.
Question is to use by or of?  By means to say that Tasciotti is the maker of these works.  Of means to say that Tasciotti is the subject of these works or he appears in them at some point. Both of these assertions are correct. So we can say Films and Movies of and by Tasciotti.  He is an authentic auteur.
